Dan Dupuis

Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Dan has been playing the guitar for 27 years.  While learning the craft at the height of the Seattle Grunge era of the 90's, his musical appreciation has expanded to include the Blues, Folk, Classic Rock, Country, Gospel, and even a dash of Jazz.  Dan has been a part of numerous ensembles, garage bands, and worship teams over the years, but his present passion remains music education and appreciation.  While ever the student himself, he still derives great joy in helping others achieve their own musical potential.  From the satisfaction of teaching a young student their first chord transition, to helping the more advanced guitarist learn the pleasures of improvising with pentatonic scales - Dan's passion for the guitar cannot be overstated.

 

But Dan's passionate about more than the guitar.  He's also passionate about people.  Having worked as a trainer, mentor, and educator going back to 2002, he has learned much about communicating the right things at the right time in the right order.  He knows the importance of laying a foundation that will last.  More than that - one that can be built upon for years to come.
